Their Ministry

Rev. Bruce D. Rzengota and his wife, Cheryl, have been in ministry for nearly 24 years.  They

began their ministry here at NAC in October of 2005. They have a passion for outreach and a

heart for people.  Their ministry is marked by strong leadership, speaking, and music skills.
 

Raised as a Catholic, Pastor Bruce fell away from the rituals of church as a disillusioned young

man.  In his early 20's he discovered a new reality, at the heart of the message of Christianity

is a relationship with God.  Embracing a new and meaningful relationship with God through

Jesus, Pastor Bruce poured himself into young adult, youth, and singles' ministries,

eventually responding to a full-time call to ministry.

Their Children

Christopher graduated 2009 from Moody Bible Institute.

Becca is a sophomore studying accounting and finance at Youngstown State.

Worship, Outreach, Assimilation

Meet Assistant Pastor Wayne Mushett.  He has been involved in ministry for the last 19 years. 

They have six children; Johnathan, Michaela, Erin, Jared, Heather, and Bethany.  He grew up in Norwalk, graduating from Norwalk High School in 1985, and on to graduate from Toccoa Falls College in 1990.  Throughout his ministry he has held the positions of Senior Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Pastor of Music and Drama. 

What Pastor Wayne Does

He has trained an adult staff to work with teens in the Norwalk area.  He has the desire is to

see teens come into a relationship with Jesus Christ and to see their lives transformed by His

spirit and power.  Events are planned that are both fun, inspiring, relational, and intentional about helping teens with the tough pressures that they face today.  Wayne is our worship leader for both services and does visitation.  Pastor also coaches sports to have more contact with area youth.

Alternative Stuff

Pastor Dan and Ranae, working in consultation with the District Director of Church Planting,

have been approved by the governing board to pursue the development of an alternative faith community under the banner of the CMA as a sister outreach of Norwalk Alliance Church. In

addition to filling the pulpit in area churches Pastor Dan and Ranae are working with two other couples to develop this unique outreach to Norwalk.

Their Ministry
Pastor Dan and Ranae grew up in Norwalk and all three of their children were born here. Pastor Dan's ministry at Norwalk Alliance began January 1, 2006 as Pastor of Lay Development.  Ranae teaches Second Grade at Trinity Christian Academy. Josh, the oldest son has recently graduated from Liberty University and is living in Westerville, Ohio with their youngest son Jake. Jake is a student at Otterbein College. Kate, the youngest, is a Fifth Grade student at Trinity Christian Academy.

A Little About Char
I have worked as the secretary at Norwalk Alliance Church for 28 years. Much of my job is ministering to people and helping them with projects or special tasks...and I enjoy that! I'm

also secretary for AWANA and the monthly food bank.  I am looking forward to what God has

in store for our church and our community.  

Family Matters
I have two grown children. My son, James who lives in Denver, CO. My daughter Emily is married

to Jason. They have given me the "delights of my heart": "...Kodi, Kayla and Kurtis. I love being

a grandma!"
